According to 's David Ornstein, Arsenal would only consider making a move for a marquee left-sided attacker if Martinelli were to leave the club. While Rodrygo and Gordon remain on their radar, it has been claimed that any transfer would be contingent on Martinelli’s departure. He said: "If Martinelli were to leave, you can see them bringing in a top left winger. If he’s not to leave, I don’t think so.
