AC Milan reportedly considered an approach for tennis legend Novak Djokovic that would have seen him work with Christian Pulisic and Co at San Siro.

Serbian superstar Djokovic, who has won more Grand Slam titles than anybody in history, is a big Rossoneri supporter. Milan owner Gerry Cardinale is aware of that and is said to have mulled over a move to bring Djokovic in as a mental coach.

According to , Cardinale was eager to get somebody else on board that can provide motivational support to players facing challenges. Djokovic is said to have been mentioned as a potential collaborator, although no formal discussions took place.

Djokovic is a regular visitor to San Siro and took the opportunity to mingle with Milan stars Rafael Leao and Ismael Benacer during the ATP Finals in Turin last November. He has also rubbed shoulders with Zlatan Ibrahimovic down the years – with the former Sweden international now an advisor to the RedBird ownership group.
