Dorgu has been a January transfer target for United, with the Italian team rejecting a £25 million ($31.4m) offer for the 20-year-old. Amid this interest, he started against Inter Milan on Sunday and Lecce president Damiani intends to keep the youngster at the club. However, he hinted more bids may come Dorgu's way.

He told Sky Italia: “There are a series of situations in progress to complete the squad. We are trying to resist, as is logical, because it is in our interest to keep the players who are protagonists of this group. So far, our idea is to not sell anyone in January.”
THE BIGGER PICTURE
This may not be over as Fabrizio Romano adds that United will try to bid again for Dorgu before the winter transfer window shuts on February 3. With Luke Shaw's injury history and Tyrell Malacia seemingly surplus to requirements, Dorgu could be a good replacement at Old Trafford.
