Arsenal have made some extremely good signings in recent seasons, which is a far cry from the days of when they’d pick up poor players in an attempt to replace a world-class player they’d sold to a rival. Those days seem over.
The Gunners have bought the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi to the club in the last few years, with all four now performing exceptionally well in the current campaign.
The 6ft 2in Aubameyang, signed from Borussia Dortmund for £55m, is the joint-top scorer alongside Mohamed Salah in the Premier League this season with 10 goals to his name. The Gabon international’s strike partner, Lacazette, isn’t too far behind that with six strikes to his name as the pair seem to find the back of the net every week.
£22m man Torreira is a firm fans’ favourite at the Emirates already, with his north London derby goal only reinforcing that status, whereas Guendouzi looks to be a huge prospect for the Gunners.
With that in mind, who is the best signing of them all out of the aforementioned? Have your say down below…
