Yoro out with suspected broken footPSG reportedly had 'fragility' concerns Romano reveals how United now feelGetty/@manchesterunitedWHAT HAPPENED?
Yoro has been the marquee signing for Manchester United so far this summer after they signed the 18-year-old from Lille for a reported fee of £52 million ($67m). However, in his first game for the Red Devils in the United States tour, a friendly against Arsenal, the Frenchman suffered a blow which saw him leave the field after just 35 minutes. He was later seen using a protective boot and crutches before United confirmed that the defender would miss three months of action.

Following the injury, L'Equipe claimed that Paris Saint-Germain, who were also interested in the 18-year-old, pulled out of the deal as they believed he was 'fragile'. The Parisians reportedly felt there was a high likelihood of an injury-plagued career. However, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that was not the case and that neither PSG, Real Madrid nor Liverpool – all of whom wanted to sign Yoro – pulled out of the race because they were worried about his medical condition.
Romano continued by saying United have no concerns about Yoro's long-term health.
"Manchester United have all the guarantees on how the physical situation is of Leny Yoro, they are not worried in the long term. He’s been really unlucky in that friendly game," Romano said in a video posted to his YouTube channel.
"In general, the medical tests were absolutely perfect. Reports of other clubs pulling out of the race for Leny Yoro because of the physical condition of the player is something I can guarantee is not the case.
"All the clubs wanted to sign Yoro, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, and Real Madrid, of course. No clubs pulled out. That is absolutely not the case. Yoro has been really unlucky, it’s not an injury that depends on the player."

Manchester United fans will be pleased to hear the news that the club aren't worried about Yoro, with the club suffering further injuries in pre-season. Rasmus Hojlund also picked up an injury against Arsenal before Marcus Rashford and Antony picked up apparent injuries during United's 3-2 win over Real Betis.
WHAT NEXT FOR YORO?
The French defender is unlikely to make his official debut for Erik ten Hag's side until the end of September or the beginning of October. However, the club's main focus will be to see the youngster recover fully as they will want to make sure they avoid a similar situation as to what happened with Lisandro Martinez.
