The club have attempted to strengthen the squad this summer by bringing in Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Diego Leon. United are also hoping to sign a striker and are currently being linked with Ollie Watkins and Benjamin Sesko. A Premier League title challenge still looks a big ask, after finishing 42 points behind champions Liverpool, but Shaw says that is the aim ahead of the big kick-off next month.
WHAT SHAW SAID
He told : "The aim has to be winning the Premier League. I know people will be questioning me for saying it after last season, but it has to be that and it’s not just me that thinks that. I'm sure the whole team, if you ask them, they have the same aims. Even the manager, I'm sure he probably wouldn’t say it in the press, but we all have to have the same beliefs and ambitions, and that family feeling together, and we’ll strive for the same thing."

Shaw has been linked with a move away from Manchester United this summer. The left-back is said to have attracted interest from the Saudi Pro League and could be tempted to leave after seeing Amorim bring in Patrick Dorgu and Leon since taking over as boss.
