After a rather disappointing end to the season with Liverpool, Salah made his way to the Egyptian national team for their World Cup qualifiers. However, the 31-year-old sent social media into a spiral after he posted pictures of himself without his iconic afro as he donned a military-style buzzcut. Fans have speculated that the Egyptian has undergone a hair transplant procedure after the season which would be the reason for his new look.

This is not the first time that Salah has sent Liverpool fans into a frenzy with a new look. In 2020, the Egyptian cropped his hair ahead of football's return to action following the COVID-19 global pandemic.
