The Scottish midfielder, who is all set to join Serie A giants Napoli after Manchester United agreed to sell him for €30 million (£25.4m/$33.6m), left Old Trafford for one last time on Tuesday. The United fan, named Skye, regularly gifts these bracelets to players including Luke Shaw and Mason Mount, who were spotted wearing them during Euro 2024. She also gifted a similar present to new signing Joshua Zirkzee and now to the outgoing McTominay.
As the 27-year-old received his gift, he was nearly moved to tears, as he said: "No way! Thank you very much, that's so sweet. I'm gonna put it on."

The Red Devils were open to selling the Scot as he was in the last year of his contract and the transaction will go down as pure profit on the balance sheet. Club legend Rio Ferdinand, however, was vocal about his disagreement with United over their decision to sell the academy graduate as he felt they took a huge gamble.
