Hojlund's nightmare journey with United continued as he left the pitch in the 68th minute without scoring a goal in the club's FA Cup fixture against Fulham on Sunday. Obi, who joined the Red Devils from Arsenal's youth team last year, replaced the Danish forward and showed promise in his cameo appearance.

After the Premier League giants' unceremonious exit from the FA Cup fifth round, club legend and pundit Wayne Rooney spoke highly of Obi as he heaped praise on the young forward. Manager Ruben Amorim even hinted that the United wonderkid could also replace Hojlund in his starting lineup in their next match.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID
Speaking on , Rooney said: "What I've really liked about him is he's put himself in some really good positions — I've been really impressed by him. He looked like the one who could go on and nick it."
Amorim, on the other hand, told reporters after the match: "Anything can happen in the next games. We need to see the opposition, feel the moment of the player physically. I will focus on just the next game. I will choose the best players to win the next match."
