The midfielder played a key role in Wrexham's return to the Football League last season, while this term he has already scored 13 goals and provided two assists in League Two. Lee's existing deal was due to expire in 2025, but according to TEAMtalk, he is set to commit his long-term future to the club.

Lee dropped down three divisions when he joined Wrexham from Luton Town in 2022, and he's been a hit at the SToK Racecourse ever since. With Wrexham currently fighting for promotion to League One, owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have shown their commitment to keeping hold of their best players.

Lee is the son of former Charlton, Newcastle and England midfielder Rob Lee. He began his career at West Ham, but never managed to become a first team regular at the east London club, and went on to play for Barnsley before joining Luton in 2017.
